Questions we actually get.

Is it hosted in the cloud?

Yes — in a dedicated production environment, with every customer isolated in its own tenant. For sites where photographs of the interior are sensitive, Compligence is designed so that inspection photos can live in storage you control, with the platform holding only the record. The details are on our trust page.

Do you submit our OSHA 300A to OSHA for us?

No. Compligence generates your 300 and 300A from the work itself and produces an ITA-format export file. You submit it. We’d rather you hold that step than trust it to anyone — including us.

Is this a mobile app?

No, and on purpose. It’s the web, built to fit a phone: nothing to install, nothing to update, and the same record whether it’s opened on a phone in the field or a desktop in the office.

Our crews don’t have company email. How do they sign in?

With their employee number. No email or phone number is required. A printed wallet card lists each worker’s certificates and carries a QR code that opens sign-in with their number filled in — scan the card, enter your password.

Is the Spanish and Korean real, or machine-translated slides?

Real. Every page is narrated in English, Spanish and Korean, and each recording is fingerprinted against its page text. Titles and captions follow the language switch.

What can’t Compligence do?

It can’t protect a company that isn’t running a real safety program. The proof only exists if the work happened. It doesn’t give legal advice, it doesn’t guarantee any outcome with OSHA, and it doesn’t submit anything on your behalf.

Who built this?

A former federal OSHA Compliance Safety and Health Officer with ten years in the field designed every course, inspection and record — covering 22 OSHA construction subparts — around the documentation framework in OSHA’s own Field Operations Manual. The platform was built by an enterprise architect with twenty years in regulated environments.

What does it cost?

Annual subscriptions, sized to your workforce. We don’t publish a price list because the fit matters more than the number — request a demo and we’ll size it in one conversation. Fifteen founding seats are open at terms that won’t return.

What does a worker see, exactly?

Training that fits a phone, in their language. Their own certificates and wallet card. If they’re assigned retraining, only the pages they need — and a retraining record when they finish, never a certificate.

If we leave, what happens to our records?

They’re yours. You own your data and your compliance records, and complete export during the term and at termination is written into the contract.

What does the AI do?

Two things. After an investigation is complete, it drafts the report for the investigator to review — it declares gaps rather than filling them, and the names of the people in the record are replaced with placeholders before anything is sent to the model. And when someone searches in Spanish or Korean, it turns the search into English so it can find the right training page. Nothing else on the platform calls a model.

Can we see it before we talk to anyone?

Yes. Request a demo and we’ll set you up with time-limited access to a demonstration environment to walk through on your own, plus a fifteen-minute call if you want one.
